A Green Light of Hope for Families in Need
Local support for families living with Alzheimer's disease and dementia. Every dollar we raise stays right here at home.
Memories just out of reach, but hope always in sight.
Helping Rutherford County families carry the weight of memory loss
The Great Gatsby Foundation supports people living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia, and the families who care for them. We raise money here, and we spend it here.
The Light of Longing
Dementia slowly takes away the people we love while they are still with us. Caregivers give up sleep, work and their own health. Many families do not know where to turn, and money raised by big national groups often never comes back to our town.
Reaching for Hope
- Caregiver respite. Time off for the people doing the caring.
- Local aid and resource navigation. Help finding the right care, services and answers nearby.
- Community education. Clear information about Alzheimer's and dementia for families.
- Community events and gatherings. Bringing neighbors together around a shared cause.
- Grants to local partners. Our board reviews local groups and funds those serving families affected by dementia.
"My father and my grandfather both lived with dementia. I started this foundation so the money our community raises stays in our community and helps the families right next door."
Gabriel Fancher · Founder & President
